Tips to sell your Crossville Home

Tips to sell your Crossville, Tennessee and Cumberland County home.

Crossville, TN is still one of the top places to relocate, invest and retire in the country. Over 63 homes sold in Crossville during July 2008 alone. Your home did not sell? Don't be too discouraged this happens sometimes.

At least 83% of buyers find their homes online. (Can you find your home with an online search for your area?) The media may paint a bad picture of real estate today - real estate sales in Cumberland County are still on the rise. The way of marketing real estate has changed!

1. Hire a Licensed Tennessee Realtor with a large online presence! (How easy is it to find your home while doing a local and national online search?)

2. Hire a "Technology" Realtor. (Do you have blogs, websites, search engines, tags, meta tags - leading to your listing for the online home buyer to find?)

3. Is your home priced right? (Your Realtor should provide updated comps of the market for your home and area)

4. Do not reduce the price of your home! It should be priced right the first time! (Placing "reduced" on your listing looks desperate.)

5. Time to start cleaning. (Where is MR CLEAN when we need him?)

6. Clutter, clutter, clutter. All those trinkets, art work and frig magnets may be appealing to you and me but to the home buyer it can spell (Clutter). (Everyone has different tastes...the best bet is to follow the Less is more rule)

7. I love color and my home is filled with bright painted walls. When it comes to the home buyer they should walk into your/their new home with views of Neutrals. (Have a weekend painting party) Do not list a painting allowance on the listing!

8. Keep your pets at bay. If you are unable have a friend or neighbor look after Fido while your home is being shown or take them along with you. (Most pets love car rides...at least mine do)

9. Curb appeal. Keep your lawn mowed and yard well maintained. (A couple pots of flowers or mums for the fall season will look great)

10. Follow these tips and you will have a much higher chance of selling your home in today's market. Feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions or a listing appointment.

Crossville Farmers Market

ALL PRODUCTS THAT ARE SOLD AT CROSSVILLE'S FARMERS MARKET MUST BE LOCALLY GROWN AND PRODUCED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY.

Giving back to the community when we buy products and locally grown produce is just one small way we can join together to help our fellow neighbors. Not only produce - You will also find local Mennonite products, candles, fresh cut flowers, fresh herbs, seeds and yummy treats.
If your like me - I would much rather buy local fruits and veggies than from a super market where they are shipped in from afar.  Visit the farmers at Hwy 70 and Livingston Rd in Crossville, just a jump up the road from the Crossville flea market. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 5am till Noon.

This one's dedicated to the one I love. (Thanks Sis)

This blog is dedicated to my sister "Tera Womack". She has always been my best friend in life and over this past year she has been there for me during a difficult struggle.

Never too busy to take a phone call... and the six hour drive difference between us has never been to long for her to come by and visit me one weekend after the next.

A true loving heart beats in her chest and age old wisdom shines from her young eyes. We don't choose our siblings in life but if I had the chance she would stand out among billions.

Thanks Sister for being just who you are.

Much love from your big sister.

CHRISTINA.

A pet's Ten Commandments.

I wanted to share this cute pet commandments note I found today for all my pet loving friends and family.    A RIGHTEOUS MAN REGARDETH THE LIFE OF HIS ANIMALS. Proverbs 12:10

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your  entertainment, but I have only you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking
to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.

7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me.  Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.

9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.

10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't
make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me  if you are there, because I love you so. ALWAYS!

Take a moment today to thank God for your pets.  Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be
a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters~

Now please pass this on to other pet owners. We do not have to wait for Heaven, to be surrounded
by hope, love, and joyfulness. It is here on earth and has four legs!
